xControl Expander

xControl provides external control expansion for use with COGNIO smart hardware for cost-effective additional push-to-talk capability and LED activity indication in conferencing and paging applications 8 flexible analog control inputs, 16 logic outputs, and 2 RS-232 ports may be configured to receive commands from third-party control systems, or, issue commands to third-party control systems. • 8 analog control inputs may each be configured for 1 potentiometer or 2 switches. • 16 logic outputs to drive LEDs or trigger external relays. • 2 RS-232 ports to interface with peripherals such as projectors, camera controls and lighting. • Multiple xControls can be combined for unlimited flexibility. • Power over Ethernet (PoE) To push a site file to xControl, the device and the computer running the DesignOps application must be on the same network as the COGNIO smart system (TC-Series, C10, C20, C100) as those systems handle the control and management of xControl. xControl includes a RJ-45 connector port supporting 1 Gbit/Sec Ethernet networking for this purpose. DesignOps provides complete configuration, programming, and management of all xControl functionality.
