xIO Bluetooth

The xIO Bluetooth is a single gang Dante endpoint for COGNIO smart hardware, bringing wireless audio into a system over a single network connection.

  • Wireless Audio: Bluetooth 5.0 for extended range and stable connectivity, featuring configurable operating modes (Media only, Phone only, or Both), PIN-code security, and selectable single/multiple device pairing memory.
  • Network Audio Expansion: Ultra-low latency Dante audio transport packaged in a compact single-gang form factor.
  • User Interface Controls: Front-panel status indication with configurable LED blackout mode.
  • Architectural Design: Available in US or EU single-gang form factors compatible with standard Decora faceplates, available in black or white finishes.
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE): Operates on standard IEEE 802.3af PoE for simplified single-cable installation.
  • Centralized Management: Full configuration, programming, and management integrated within DesignOps software.

To push a site file to an xIO Bluetooth, the host computer running DesignOps, the xIO Bluetooth device, and the host COGNIO smart system (TC-Series, C10, C20, or C100) must all reside on the same local network, as the COGNIO processor handles all xIO Bluetooth control operations. The device features an RJ-45 port supporting 100Base-T Ethernet to facilitate deployment.
