Control Panel Group View
After creating Spaces in the Site View, select the + Add Control Panel item in the Space block.
Click to add a new Control Panel Group or choose an existing Control Panel Group.
A different workspace canvas appears in the interface.
At the left of the top toolbar is a search box to find exiting control panels.
Next to search is a direcional icon that hides or display the toolkit.
Futher to the right are the Panel and Tabular buttons. Tabular present a different view that displays lists of the elements being used in the Control Panel.
At the far right of the toolbar, clicking on the 3 bars brings up the Properties Panel. This panel provides a choice of settings for the design and function of the controls used in the Control Panel.
At the top of the toolkit on the left is displayed: NEW CONTROL THEME. Below this is a list box that will show as Default.
Clicking on the down area will display a list of existing themes using different color palettes and parameters that can be selected. DesignOps includes some pre-built themes and additional themes can be created, saved, and recalled for use across multiple control screen types.
The CONTROL PANEL GROUP- (name) PLACED CONTROLS item list displays user controls that has been mapped to a specific signal flow.
The CONTROL PANEL GROUP- (name) UNPLACED CONTROLS item list displays a user control that has been mapped to an un-specified signal flow.
The OTHER CONTROL PANEL GROUPS item list displays existing Control Panels to use elements from.
The UNMAPPED CONTROLS item list in the toolkit has a variety of control elements that can be dragged and dropped on to the Control Panel workspace.
By scrolling down further in the toolkit, there are shapes, text boxes and icons for use on Control Panels.
At the bottom right of the interface is a control button to zoom the wrorspace are in and out.
