xIO Stage 4x4

The xIO Stage 4x4 is an analog-to-digital (A/D) and digital-to-analog (D/A) audio expander for COGNIO smart hardware, adding local analog inputs, outputs, and Dante network audio channels in a form factor designed for standard electrical enclosures.

  • Analog Inputs: 4 switchable mic/line inputs featuring premium Neutrik metal-body DL-series XLR connectors, with software-controllable preamp gain and +48 VDC phantom power per channel.
  • Analog Outputs: 4 balanced line-level outputs using Neutrik XLR connectors.
  • Network Audio Expansion: Ultra-low latency Dante audio transport over standard Ethernet networks.
  • Architectural Design: Mounts directly into a standard $8" \times 8"\times 4"$ electrical NEMA/gang enclosure for stage, floor-pocket, or wall-box installations.
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE): Operates on standard IEEE 802.3af PoE for simplified single-cable installation.
  • Centralized Management: Full configuration, programming, and management integrated within DesignOps software.

To push a site file to an xIO Stage 4x4, the host computer running DesignOps, the xIO Stage 4x4 device, and the host COGNIO smart system (TC-Series, C10, C20, or C100) must all reside on the same local network, as the COGNIO processor handles all xIO Stage 4x4 control operations. The xIO Stage 4x4 features an RJ-45 port supporting 1 Gbps Ethernet to facilitate deployment.
