No. Cognio is not backwards compatible with Composer-based DSPs.

Are Cognio DSPs coupled with the unit serial number OR can I find my device serial number from within Cognio?
No. Currently all Symetrix DSP's serial numbers are located on the back and/or bottom of the unit shown as an "80-..." number and are not tied to the unit MAC address. This means serial numbers cannot be viewed from within Cognio.
