Fader

A Fader is a sliding control used to adjust a parameter such as gain. The Design tab styles the selected Fader on a Control Panel. The sections appear top to bottom in the Modifier Panel.

Appearance

The Fader's Appearance section adds Cap Color, Cap Detail Color, and a Track color and size to the common appearance properties. See Common Controls.

Fader

The Fader section shows or hides the fader itself. Clear the checkbox to hide the fader while keeping the control's Up Down Buttons, Label, and Readout. Use this to build a pair of up and down buttons, with or without a value readout, that has no fader between them.

When the fader is hidden, the Position toggle in the Label and Readout sections offers a fifth, center position, which places the label or readout where the fader would be. When the fader is shown, the center position is treated as the bottom position. The center position is also available when you select several controls, as long as at least one of them is a Fader.
