Properties

Compressor Limiter Properties

  • Name: Type here to change the module name
  • Appearance: Click on the colored box to change the module color
  • Split Band: Determines if there are 1 or 2 bands of compression split by frequency. Default: Disable
  • Side Chain: Enables a side chain input. Default: Disable

Controls

Compressor Limiter Controls

Sidechain crossover (shown when Side Chain is enabled):

  • Frequency (Numeric): Displays the sidechain crossover frequency.
  • Frequency (Fader): Sets the sidechain crossover frequency.

Per band:

  • Knee (Drop List): Selects hard or soft knee compression characteristic.
  • Threshold (Numeric): Displays the compression threshold level.
  • Threshold (Fader): Sets the compression threshold level.
  • Ratio (Numeric): Displays the compression ratio.
  • Ratio (Fader): Sets the compression ratio.
  • Attack (Numeric): Displays the compression attack time.
  • Attack (Fader): Sets the compression attack time.
  • Release (Numeric): Displays the compression release time.
  • Release (Fader): Sets the compression release time.
  • Active (Button, toggle): Enables or bypasses compression on this band.
  • Gain Reduction (Meter): Displays the amount of gain reduction being applied.
  • Output Gain (Numeric): Displays the makeup gain for this band.
  • Output Gain (Fader): Sets the makeup gain for this band.
  • Output Meter (Meter): Displays the post-compression output signal level. Shown as Sidechain Meter when Side Chain is enabled.
