xOut 4 audio output expander

xOut 4 is an output (D/A) expander for COGNIO smart hardware adding analog inputs, outputs, and additional Dante channels.

  • Network audio expansion using Dante protocol over standard IT networks with ultra-low latency.
  • PoE To push a site file to xOut 4, the device and the computer running the DesignOps application must be on the same network as the COGNIO smart system (TC-Series, C10, C20, C100) as those systems handle the control and management of xOut 4. xOut 4 includes a RJ-45 connector port supporting 1 Gbit/Sec Ethernet networking for this purpose. DesignOps provides complete configuration, programming, and management of all xOut 4 functionality.
